Industrial area A14

Next exit: Seehausen industrial estate
With the closure of the gap in the A14 federal highway, the municipality of Seehausen (Altmark) will in future be very easy to reach in terms of transport between the conurbations of Hamburg, Wismar/Rostock, Berlin, Magdeburg and the Hanover-Braunschweig-Wolfsburg-Göttingen metropolitan region.
An industrial area covering 33 hectares is planned between the B189 route and the future highway route (see location map). It is possible to expand the area to the south. No individual plots have been designated yet, and various layouts are possible.
The future Seehausen industrial estate stands out due to its location directly on the future route of the A14 between two highway exits. The Seehausen-Mitte junction, which is around 1 km away, not only provides access to the A14, but also to the B 190 (n) federal highway, which provides connections to Wolfsburg and Hanover via Salzwedel. The Seehausen-Nord junction, also around 1 km away, also offers a direct connection to nearby Lower Saxony via state road 2.
15 km north of the industrial area, also accessible via the A14 and the current B189, is the town of Wittenberge, a transportation hub. The Elbeport Wittenberge is a trimodal transhipment terminal where goods can be transferred from road to rail or cargo ships. The rail network branches out from here to Hamburg, Wismar, Rostock, Berlin and Magdeburg. Hamburg, Berlin and Dresden can also be reached via the Elbe and its tributaries. The Mittelland Canal is around 100 km upstream.
The following speak for your location in the Seehausen industrial estate:

- trimodal transshipment point 15 km away
- Low property and trade tax rates (property tax A 305%, property tax B 394%, trade tax 361%)
