Display the burning of fireworks
Service description
You must notify us before you are allowed to set off pyrotechnic fireworks. You can make use of this service if the intended pyrotechnic articles are of category F2, F3, F4, P1, P2, T1 or T2. In the vicinity of buildings or installations that are particularly sensitive to fire, fireworks may only be set off at a sufficient distance and taking into account the direction of the wind. The burning of pyrotechnic objects in the immediate vicinity of churches, hospitals, kindergartens and old people's homes, as well as half-timbered houses, is prohibited. It should be noted that a display can only be made under certain conditions.
Procedure
To make a complaint, you must state the facts of the case in writing. You do not need a form for this.

- This also includes a detailed description of the project and the location.
- The documents you submit will be checked for completeness and conclusiveness.
- Documents will be requested if necessary.
- There is no re-registration after a successful examination.
Prerequisites
You must have a certificate of competence and/or a permit from an authority in order to be allowed to display pyrotechnic articles.

The notification period of 2 weeks prior to burning applies to pyrotechnic articles of the
- Category F2 in the period from 02.01. to 30.12.
- Categories F3, F4, P1, P2, T1 and T2 all year round
Notification period of 4 weeks before setting off pyrotechnic articles in the immediate vicinity of railroad installations, airports or federal waterways that are shipping lanes.
Processing time
Varies depending on the competent authority; usually up to 14 days.
