Schedule for the 2027 Mayoral Election – Hanseatic City of Seehausenn (Altmark)

Dear citizens of the Hanseatic City of Seehausen (Altmark), the election for the honorary mayor of the Hanseatic City of Seehausen (Altmark) will take place on January 24, 2027.

Starting on August 3, 2026, potential candidates will have the opportunity to submit their applications for the office of mayor to the Seehausen (Altmark) Municipal Association administration. This deadline ends on November 17, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.

You can obtain all the necessary documents and forms from the Administrative Office of the Seehausen (Altmark) Municipal Association, Schwibbogen 1a, 39615 Hansestadt Seehausen (Altmark).

Once the applications have been received, they will be reviewed for accuracy and completeness. The Election Committee is expected to decide on the eligibility of the candidates on November 17, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. The candidates will then be publicly announced.

As in past elections, potential mayoral candidates will be given the opportunity to introduce themselves in person to the voters.
