The Hanseatic City of Seehausen (Altmark) is receiving a grant to process 4 running meters of historic municipal records. The project is part of the nationwide funding program “Preserving Written Cultural Heritage.”
This initiative is supported by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) and the Cultural Foundation of the German States (KSL), in cooperation with the Coordination Office for the Preservation of Written Cultural Heritage (KEK).
The total cost is approximately €11,400.00, 50% of which is covered by grants.
The goal of the project is to ensure the long-term preservation and conservation of important written records from the city administration. This will make a significant contribution to preserving the cultural memory of the Hanseatic city.
