In six months, it will be that time again: Between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the Stendal District and the Employment Agency will organize the “Job Fair—Returnees’ Day in the Stendal District,” which has already become a tradition. The event will take place for the eighth time on Saturday, December 27, at the District Office (Hospitalstraße 1-2, 39576 Hansestadt Stendal) and is designed to offer all interested individuals the opportunity to explore new career opportunities.
“Although December 27 falls on a Sunday this year, we want to stick to that date and the tradition associated with it. That is also what the exhibitors want,” explains Patrick Puhlmann. “For potential returnees, the weekend following the Christmas holidays offers even more time to learn about job opportunities in the Altmark region. We’d like to provide the platform for this and are therefore pleased to continue our collaboration with the Employment Agency,” says the Stendal District Administrator.
Last year, about 700 visitors accepted the invitation to the Stendal District Office. More than 50 institutions and companies from across the region showcased their work there. “Even during the last event, the exhibitors let us know that they wanted to participate again in the next edition,” says Matthias Kaschte. “A survey conducted in the spring among all participating companies confirmed this once again, which is why we immediately began preparations,” adds the director of the Saxony-Anhalt North Employment Agency.
