The lecture deals with the topic "Lung disease COPD - recognizing and treating". The speaker is Dr. Dr. med. Daniel Kügler, Head Physician of the Internal Medicine Clinic. The event starts at 14.30 in the Bürgertreff Osterburg, Gartenstraße 32, and is open to everyone.
COPD is the abbreviation of the collective term for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Anyone suffering from COPD has breathing problems - when inhaling, exhaling or both. Shortness of breath is a common symptom of lung diseases. This is precisely why it is important to make the correct diagnosis and treat this disease in good time. The lecture will mainly discuss the symptoms of COPD, a very common disease that is often not recognized and therefore not treated on the right side. The signs of this disease are discussed in detail in the lecture and early treatment is pointed out. However, patients who do not (yet) have COPD are also invited to this lecture, as prevention is also an important aspect.
