On Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., our hospital will once again host an event titled “Medicine in Dialogue” (see the attached poster for details).
This time the topic will be "Bowel cancer - why screening is so important". The speaker is Dr. Dr. Daniel Kügler, Head Physician at the Clinic for Internal Medicine. The event will take place in the training rooms behind ward 2.
A colorectal cancer diagnosis - news that often comes as a shock to patients and their families and raises many questions: What happens next? What should those affected know? At the information event, you will find answers to some of the most important questions about bowel cancer and why screening is so important. Information will be provided on the causes of bowel cancer, how the cancer can be detected and what examinations and treatments are available. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity to talk to the head physician.
Admission is free of charge. Registration is not necessary.
